Rottweiler Characteristics

This section will discuss a few characteristic traits relating to Rottweilers: physical appearance, personality, lifespan, and how well they are as a pet.

1.Physical Appearance

A six-month Rotweiller puppy is about 22 to 23 inches in height and between 60 to 71 pounds in weight. These puppies are black with tan points, and their ideal coat is relatively short, dense, and a bit harsh. They are usually very friendly, devoted, and easy to touch and handle. At Kleeket LLC, you will have our puppies fully vaccinated and trained to become the best home companion.

2.Personality

Generally, Rottweiler puppies are well-socialized and get along with people and other dogs. Although the male Rottweilers how some traits of dominance and aggression, if they are appropriately trained, they prove to be the most intelligent breed. Rott puppies are usually very active and overly independent, but they can be nuisance barkers and diggers if not groomed with the necessary guidance and training. At Kleeket LLC, we have a group of experts, including trainers, psychologists, and trainers who keenly observe the early traits of each puppy and train them accordingly. Each life is different; no two puppies can be exactly alike in behavior and work efficiency. Thus, individual attention and nurturing are essential.

3.Lifespan

Rottweilers have shooter lifespans compared to other dog breeds. While other dogs in the same weight category can live up to 15 years, pure breed Rottweilers live only 9 years. Female Rottweilers live an average of 9.5 years and outlive males by 10 months on an average.

4.Rottweiler As A Pet

Rottweilers are intelligent companions to keep as a pet. They are highly spontaneous, social, intelligent, friendly in nature, and protective towards all the family members. This breed is often very of their children and should be supervised when with a group of children. They love being in the company of their owners and do not tend to perform well if left alone for too long.

Health and Care

This section will discuss a few health and nutrition tips about Rottweilers. Trainers can significantly benefit from following these tips.

1.Training

Rottweiler dogs are trained from early on in their life. This breed needs puppy socialization, consistent leadership, and basic training classes. If appropriately trained from an early age, these dogs grow into well-manned adults and respond amazingly to commands. At Kleeket LLC, our breed experts, doctors, trainers, and nutritionists have ample knowledge about the dog’s character, behavior patterns, efficiency, training, and growth requirements. When to-be owners visit our center, we guide them thoroughly for future grooming and training. However, we still recommend that owners do some research to know about the breed. This helps them understand their pet fast.

2.Grooming

Rottweillers have a medium-length coarse, dense, and flat overcoat. This coat needs weekly brushing and also needs regular bathing. Rotties shed very moderately throughout the year except for spring and fall when shedding increases. The owners of these Rottweilers must trim their nails every week and brush their teeth regularly.

3.Nutrition

Generally, adult Rottweilers consume a few cups of dry dog food throughout the day. How much your pet will consume depends on his age, size, and energy level. The owners should never free-feed their Rott pets as their dogs aren’t good at self-moderation and can quickly become overweight if left to eat alone. Owners need to discuss food brands and quantities with the pet’s veterinarian as they are the health expert for their Rottie.
